Volvo Trucks is seeking a LEAN Specialist to join their Retail Development team in Hwaseong, South Korea. This role focuses on enhancing Lean maturity, driving continuous improvement, and standardizing processes across their service network, including Owned and Private Dealers. The specialist will lead audits, certifications, training, and improvement projects to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Conduct regular audits, staged certification, continuous improvement and sustainment activities for each service center.
  • Manage the full LEAN for Retail rollout cycle, from roadmap development to post-certification follow-up.
  • Use data and on-site assessments to set improvement priorities and build organizational capability.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance LEAN maturity across the entire service network.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and standardize processes.
  • Achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold certifications and improve key performance indicators.
  • Provide training and coaching to service center management and frontline employees.
  • Establish operating systems aligned with Volvo Trucks’ LEAN standards.
  • Improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the automotive or commercial-vehicle aftermarket.
  • Hands-on experience in LEAN or Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience in service-center audits, findings analysis, action-plan development and corrective-action follow-up within the automotive or commercial-vehicle industry is preferred.
  • Experience planning and leading improvement projects.
  • Experience delivering training, facilitating workshops and providing coaching across a service network or geographically distributed field organization is preferred.
  • Fluency in Korean and business-level English sufficient for meetings, reporting and document preparation with global organizations.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the service network, Retail Development, headquarters in Sweden (VTI and VT), and external partners.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • A major in industrial engineering, business administration, mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • LEAN experience and relevant certifications—such as Six Sigma Green Belt or above, ISO Internal Auditor, or data analytics—are preferred.
  • Experience in service-center audits, findings analysis, action-plan development and corrective-action follow-up within the automotive or commercial-vehicle industry is preferred.
  • Experience delivering training, facilitating workshops and providing coaching across a service network or geographically distributed field organization is preferred.
