I korthet

Saab Inc is looking for a Lead Field Implementation Manager in East Syracuse, NY, to oversee the deployment of complex air traffic control and situational awareness systems. This role involves developing and executing installation strategies, managing customer interfaces, and coordinating with internal engineering and production teams, as well as subcontractors.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and execute all aspects of deploying systems on customer premises.
  • Participate in planning and development of installation strategies.
  • Plan and estimate prospective installations during proposals.
  • Understand customer requirements through meetings and site surveys.
  • Produce site survey reports detailing installation considerations.
  • Recommend installation strategies.
  • Identify code-related activities requiring professional engineer designs.
  • Identify installation materials needed.
  • Develop subcontractor statements of work and bid packages.
  • Hold pre-bid meetings and aid in the review and award of sub-contracts.
  • Manage design and construction subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with Saab resources for successful installations.
  • Perform minor installation work when necessary.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in program/project management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Visio, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail while tracking multiple interdependent functions.
  • Ability to follow-up action items and requests.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess a strong work ethic and constant desire to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestic up to 25%.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Construction Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with U.S. Government Projects (both Operations and Engineering) programs is a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian products like JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence, preferred.
