Alstom is seeking a full-time Lead Engineer - Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) in Madhepura, Bihar, to ensure the integrity of vendor-supplied parts and manage quality for the E Loco project. This role involves managing non-conformance reports, instrument calibration, supplier development, and part inspection.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure the integrity of vendor-supplied parts and manage quality to meet production targets.
  • Work closely with teams across Production, Supply Chain, PME, Industrial Quality, SPQD & Engineering.
  • Monitor Goods Receipt Note (GRN) clearances.
  • Manage non-conformance report (NCR) management.
  • Oversee instrument calibration and training development.
  • Conduct supplier development and part inspection both in-house and at supplier premises.
  • Ensure effective GRN clearance and accurate report management in GSI.
  • Conduct First Cut Analysis and collaborate with the Serial SQ department.
  • Raise and resolve NCRs promptly.
  • Oversee D4 Closure and visual management of quality processes.
  • Maintain the jail area and manage rejected parts return to suppliers.
  • Inspect parts and ensure supplier adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct supplier visits for part development and quality assurance.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing/leading complex projects.
  • Provide technical expertise for Electrical parts, Welded parts, Painted parts, and other vendor-supplied parts.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with 3D drawings and calibration processes.
  • A proactive mindset and leadership qualities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
