Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer specializing in Dev Test, Python, and AI in Hyderabad, India. This role involves designing, developing, and validating software, with a focus on Machine Learning solutions for on-device inference, optimizing performance on various hardware accelerators.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions.
  • Develop and commercialize ML solutions like Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine (SNPE) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs.
  • Enable AI/ML stack on various platforms and optimize performance on multiple hardware accelerators (CPU/GPU/NPU).
  • Deploy large software C/C++ dependency stacks using best practices.
  • Keep up with fast-paced developments in industry and academia to enhance solutions from software engineering and machine learning standpoints.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • More than 6 years in software, with focused experience on LLM/Generative AI systems.
  • Strong Python programming with C/C++ hands on.
  • LLM API testing experience.
  • Familiarity with LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic etc).
  • Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and similarity search.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and automation tools.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of Processor architecture, memory hierarchies, cache and system design fundamentals.
  • Basic OS concepts, multithreading, synchronization, posix threads.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented software development.
  • Background in mathematical operations: linear algebra, fast-math libraries.
  • Floating-point, Fixed-point representations and Quantization concepts.
  • Knowledge of parallel computing systems and associated languages like OpenCL, CUDA, etc. is a plus.
