Seeking an experienced R2R SME for a Lead Accounting/Controllership role in Noida or Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site position requires 8-12 years of experience in managing financial close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement through automation.
Ansvarsområden
- Assist with identifying and administering internal controls and updating SOPs.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytical reports for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts for financial information accuracy.
- Provide supporting documentation to management, auditors, and tax departments.
- Manage end-to-end R2R processes for multiple entities, including monthly and annual financial close.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Drive intercompany accounting efforts for accurate elimination and consolidation.
- Mentor junior team members through coaching and skill development.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand needs, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes using ERP systems, AI, RPA, and analytics tools.
- Develop SOPs for process enhancements, driving cost savings and improved accuracy.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives.
Krav
- 8-12 years of progressively responsible experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) function.
- Deep expertise in managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with intercompany accounting.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Extensive experience managing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in tools for process automation and financial analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are preferred.
- Experience preferably within a corporate or global business services environment.
