About This Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated L1 Fault Management Engineer – Broadcast, OTT & IPTV to join Ericsson's Network Operations Center (NOC). You will be responsible for 24x7 monitoring of Broadcast, OTT, IPTV, VOD, and CAS platforms, performing alarm analysis, managing incident tickets, and escalating faults per defined procedures.
What You Will Do
•    Monitor alarms and alerts from Broadcast, OTT, IPTV, VOD, and CAS platforms on a 24x7 basis
•    Perform initial alarm analysis and identify service-impacting issues
•    Create, update, and escalate incident tickets to L2/L3 teams within defined SLAs
•    Monitor service dashboards and report abnormalities
•    Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate incident records
•    Follow SOPs, escalation matrix, and operational procedures
Platforms Monitored: RF Gateway (RFGW) | Digital Content Manager (DCM) | CAS | Broadcast | IPTV | OTT | VOD
What You Will Bring
Technical Knowledge:
•    Basic understanding of Broadcast TV, IPTV, and OTT streaming concepts
•    Familiarity with MPEG and DVB technologies
•    Basic IP Networking and TCP/IP fundamentals
•    Awareness of Linux OS fundamentals
Tools:
•    Conviva, Grafana, NMS Platforms
•    ServiceNow / Remedy / JIRA
Key Competencies
•    Alarm analysis and fault identification
•    Incident management and SLA awareness
•    Good communication skills (verbal & written)
•    24x7 shift working capability
•    Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures

Education
•    B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Telecom, Computer Science, or IT OR
•    Diploma in Electronics, Telecom, or Networking
