Ansvarsområden

  • Support in producing meals in the co-worker restaurant, including meatballs and hot dishes.
  • Prepare and make meals using ovens and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a safety-first, fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to safety details.
  • Multi-task efficiently to ensure IKEA remains a safe and enjoyable place to work.
  • Prepare for the next day's trade.
  • Manage waste and work in a sustainable and cost-conscious way.
  • Follow a cleaning schedule and maintain high kitchen cleanliness standards.

Krav

  • Prior kitchen and catering experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and working to deadlines.
  • Self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-oriented, even when busy.
  • Successful candidates must pass mandatory background checks and complete a medical questionnaire.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Förmåner

  • Start date of employment on 21st of September 2026.
  • Option 1: £15,736.50 per annum for a 22.5-hour contract.
  • Option 2: £10,491.00 per annum for a 15-hour weekend-only contract.
  • 22.5 hours per week, 3 days over 7 including alternate weekends, with rotational shifts (06:30am-14:30pm and 12:30pm-20:00pm).
  • 15 hours per week, weekend only (Saturday and Sunday), with rotational shifts (06:30am-14:30pm and 12:30pm-20:00pm).
