Ericsson is seeking a Junior Baseband Tester for its L1 Software Development team in Łódź, Poland. This role involves testing and integrating Physical Layer Baseband functions for 5G and 6G radio products, ensuring market leadership through cutting-edge L1 solutions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Validate, troubleshoot, and integrate new Baseband features in an end-to-end test environment for Ericsson Radio products.
  • Conduct legacy regression testing and feature interaction testing.
  • Work across multiple QA areas including stability, robustness, resilience, and automation.
  • Apply expertise in wireless standards like 5G and LTE, including their underlying protocols.
  • Operate in advanced lab environments to diagnose issues and integrate complex software components.
  • Create detailed test plans, document analyses, and share insights with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers across design, systems, and QA for problem resolution.
  • Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Thrive in an agile development setting, delivering product and test code through DevOps infrastructure.

Krav

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, or relevant industry experience in telecom or related areas, preferably focused on feature testing.
  • Some experience in LTE, NR/5G, and wireless air interfaces, including end-to-end feature testing (e.g., gNodeB and UE integration).
  • Knowledge of Moshell and other Ericsson RAN troubleshooting tools.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with QA areas such as stability, robustness, and resilience.
  • Basic knowledge of signaling, protocol layers, and RF testing.
  • Some experience in planning lab setups, designing/executing test plans, analyzing data, and producing high-quality test reports.
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Passion for software development, problem-solving, and sharing technical know-how.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile setting, keeping up with emerging industry trends and delivering complex solutions on time with quality.
  • Proactive in improving quality assurance practices and driving creative solutions.
