We are seeking an ITS Systems Engineer to focus on fleet management and operational excellence within Corporate Infrastructure Services. This role involves owning the operational health, compliance, and lifecycle management of infrastructure fleets, troubleshooting complex systems problems, and building automation using AWS services and scripting languages like Python. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 4 years of relevant experience in SRE, systems engineering, or related fields.

Ansvarsområden

  • Own the operational health and compliance of infrastructure fleets, maintaining accurate inventory and tracking lifecycle status.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex systems problems across hardware, software, networking, and operating environments.
  • Build automation for device discovery, compliance scanning, firmware tracking, health monitoring, and lifecycle reporting.
  • Create, review, and improve SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for consistent operations.
  • Identify patterns affecting fleet performance, reliability, availability, or compliance, and drive automation.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives for measurable improvements.
  • Provide insights to other engineering domains on system interactions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
  • Contribute to team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.

Krav

  • 4+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience.
  • 5+ years of Linux experience.
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in any of the following: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS.
  • Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes.
  • Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services.
