Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate for its IT Services team in Gurugram, India. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support for employees' hardware, software, and network issues, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring system SLAs are met. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems and strong customer service skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide ticket-based, walk-up, and remote Helpdesk support for Amazon’s user base.
  • Direct internal and external service provider engagements for timely issue resolution.
  • Manage processes like new hire onboarding, computer lifecycle management, and asset management.
  • Participate in developing and implementing procedures for hardware and local services reliability.
  • Uphold system SLAs with a rotating On-call schedule.
  • Research, procure, vet, and deploy new hardware and software solutions.

Krav

  • 3+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Chrome OS and Windows environments.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
  • Experience with Windows/Mac/Linux OS deployment.
  • Experience with remote technical support.
  • Comprehensive user hardware/software/peripheral assistance.
  • Expertise in LAN troubleshooting and hardware asset management.
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of urgent requests.
  • Innovation, energy, and adaptability in new processes.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain high productivity levels while managing ambiguous situations.
  • Combines strong technical capabilities with genuine curiosity.
  • Commitment to team success.
