Saab UK is seeking a motivated IT Project Manager in Fareham, Hampshire to deliver complex IT projects and support change initiatives. The role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering projects on time and within scope, while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

Ansvarsområden

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and change projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, coordinating resources and activities.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, track progress, and escalate risks and issues.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality and governance standards.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and change control.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate IT changes across infrastructure environments.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and provide updates.
  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned projects or workstreams.

Krav

  • Demonstrable IT experience with exposure to the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting or delivering IT projects across a range of technology areas: Infrastructure (networks, servers, storage), Networking, Windows, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, IT security.
  • Good technical understanding with the ability to work effectively within structured or secure IT environments.
  • Proficient in the use of project planning and tracking tools.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage tasks and identify dependencies.
  • Understanding of project governance and quality standards, with experience working within defined frameworks.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to support and coordinate cross-functional teams.
