I korthet

We are seeking an IT Test Engineer to join our QA team in Izmir, Türkiye. You will design and execute functional and performance tests, identify and track defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of IT applications and solutions, contributing to stable and timely releases.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze functional requirements and design effective IT test cases.
  • Plan, design, and execute functional and performance testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain performance test scripts and perform related unit testing.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases and report test results.
  • Prepare, validate, and maintain test environments and test data.
  • Troubleshoot IT applications and investigate issues.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using relevant tools.
  • Retest resolved defects and manage the defect lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with development teams to analyze issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to improving test coverage, efficiency, and automation.
  • Support stable and reliable software releases by identifying quality risks.

Krav

  • Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related IT testing role.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and the defect lifecycle.
  • Experience in designing and executing functional test cases.
  • Knowledge of performance testing concepts and preferably experience with performance test scripting.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Understanding of test environment preparation and test data validation.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of testing activities and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and interest in improving testing processes and quality practices.
