ABB is seeking an IPU Manager in Shanghai to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results by coordinating plant equipment, personnel, and processes. This role involves leading a production team, optimizing resources, maintaining quality standards, and developing staff to achieve operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead a team within a production unit or line to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards.
  • Identify deficiencies, propose improvements, and oversee actions to enhance production performance.
  • Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets and respond to resource issues.
  • Lead capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or line.
  • Ensure production scheduling and plans meet volume requirements and service levels.
  • Maintain high product quality levels and the effective running of production and quality systems.
  • Chair regular quality improvement and Gemba meetings.
  • Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  • Guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates.

Krav

  • Bachelor degree, major in engineering or related.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management.
  • 5+ years of experience in Process control, Production / Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
  • Knowledge of business, engineering, production methods and planning, subcontracting, logistics, and quality assurance.
  • Determined and active attitude and project management skills.
  • Pro-active approach.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Cross-cultural understanding.
