Arla Foods Ingredients is seeking an Inventory Specialist for their Global Planning team in Aarhus, Denmark. This role involves establishing and driving the company's inventory capability, implementing new inventory frameworks, and optimizing inventory performance across the global supply chain. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and supply chain planning skills, with experience in inventory management and ERP systems like SAP.

Ansvarsområden

  • Drive the implementation and ongoing development of AFI's inventory management framework.
  • Take ownership of inventory policies, safety stock methodologies, and governance processes.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as the inventory lead in S&OP and S&OE processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to balance service levels, operational constraints, and working capital.
  • Drive continuous improvements of inventory management processes and systems.
  • Develop and maintain inventory-related KPIs and reporting.

Krav

  • Experience within inventory management, supply planning, production planning, materials planning, or related disciplines.
  • Understanding of inventory optimization principles, including safety stock management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience working with ERP and planning systems, preferably SAP and/or SAP IBP.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and analytical tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A structured and detail-oriented mindset combined with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience implementing new planning, inventory, or supply chain processes.
  • Experience with S&OP and S&OE processes.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization methodologies and statistical safety stock calculations.
