Internship IoT (3-4 months)

Your role

GENIUS Instant InsightsTM is an IoT (Internet of Things) based solution, enabling our customers to operate their vacuum pumps with higher up-time and more sustainably whilst having full transparency on their state. Our global customers can view the health and operational KPIs of their connected pump in the GENIUS portal and can receive alerts and curated recommendations on how to optimize their vacuum pumps operation.

As an IoT Infrastructure Intern you will support our IoT Infrastructure & Operations team in developing new IoT equipment for our vacuum pumps and ensuring a high level of connectivity quality. You will learn about the whole value chain of delivering IoT enabled services to global customers and how to manage product development and delivery.

As part of the GENIUS team, you will be working with an energetic, agile and international team of experts with diverse professional backgrounds as well as with representatives of the product company Cologne. You will have a significant chance to grow your understanding of modern industrial service business and IoT service delivery.

• Support the IoT Infrastructure & Operations teams in ongoing development projects
• Establish new capabilities to monitor quality of production and connectivity quality
• Update internal and external manuals
• Contribute to the creation of tailored training for our field service organization
• Support operative activities, like firmware updates, to enhance digital capabilities of our IoT equipment

Job location
