I korthet

As an International Service Engineer (Electrical) for Framo Nederland, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and repair of marine pumping and control systems worldwide. This full-time role requires a technical education (MBO level, preferably electrical engineering) and a strong service orientation, with travel expected.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning, and service activities on marine equipment and systems, including FRAMO pumping systems.
  • Prepare service jobs for efficient execution in accordance with established procedures and service standards.
  • Travel worldwide to vessels, shipyards, and customer locations, including sailing with vessels when required.
  • Diagnose electrical and control system faults, as well as hydraulic and mechanical issues, and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Document findings, actions, and recommendations in detailed service reports, and register working hours and expenses.
  • Obtain customer sign-off and maintain professional communication throughout service assignments.
  • Provide technical advice to customers and feedback to internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and technical competence.

Krav

  • A technical education at MBO level, preferably in electrical engineering.
  • A strong focus on service and customers.
  • An interest in pumping systems and shipping.
  • Good English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide and to sail with vessels when required.
  • Flexibility: no 9-to-5 mentality, and reasonable availability on weekends and public holidays by arrangement.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Enjoy working independently and handle responsibility well.
  • Preferably based in South Holland (Zuid-Holland).
