Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the automotive industry? Join the Digitalization and Transformation team at Volvo Group North America as a Supply Chain Digitalization Intern. This temporary, on-site role offers hands-on experience in supply chain management, finance, and data analytics, utilizing advanced technologies like AI and automation. You will work with a collaborative team to improve supply chain design and performance, applying process mining, analytics, and Lean principles.
Ansvarsområden
- Apply process mining and data analytics to identify opportunities and improve supply chain processes.
- Develop solutions using AI, analytics, and automation tools in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Adapt Lean principles to enhance value chain efficiency, sustainability, quality, and cost performance.
- Participate in forums with internal and external stakeholders to foster feedback and align expectations.
Krav
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution.
- Students from Industrial, Mechanical or Computer Science fields of study are encouraged to apply.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours before the internship begins.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Interest in supply chain, logistics, process improvement & digitalization.
- Experience with at least one programming language like Python, R or SQL.
- Familiarity with data management, Azure tool stack & process mining tools.
- Curious, self-motivated, and proactive, with a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and take initiative.
