Volvo Trucks North America is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer Intern for Spring 2027 in Dublin, VA. The intern will support the Sales Engineering team by developing reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to aid data-driven decision-making. This temporary, on-site position is ideal for a motivated student pursuing a quantitative degree.
Ansvarsområden
- Assist with the development of reports, dashboards, automations, and analytical solutions.
- Transform data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights that support business and commercial decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, business processes, and decision-making through automation and data analytics.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to practical, scalable data solutions.
- Document analytical methods, data sources, and solution requirements to support ongoing use and continuous improvement.
- Communicate findings through concise visualizations, summaries, and presentations.
Krav
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Information Technology, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, asking thoughtful questions, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Coursework, project experience, or familiarity with one or more of the following: Power BI, SQL, Azure Databricks, Power Automate, Microsoft SharePoint, Python
- Querying, combining, and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Data visualization and dashboard design
- Statistical concepts and techniques, including regression, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing
- Requirements gathering, process documentation, or workflow automation
