Join Vattenfall's Solar & Battery team in Hamburg as an Intern, supporting the development of utility-scale battery projects. This temporary role is ideal for engineering or business students seeking hands-on experience in the energy transition, requiring at least 12 months remaining in their studies and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ansvarsområden

Support project development and coordination activities.
Maintain and structure information libraries, databases, and SharePoint workspaces.
Track project activities, milestones, and action items.
Prepare presentations, reports, and decision-making materials.
Support regulatory and permitting-related activities.
Conduct market, policy, and technology research related to battery storage.
Assist with process improvement and knowledge management initiatives.
Support the preparation and review of project documentation.
Participate actively in team meetings, workshops, and project discussions.
Contribute to technical, commercial, or strategic workstreams based on interests and background.

Krav

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 12 months remaining before graduation and sufficient progress in studies to take on tasks independently.
A genuine interest in the energy transition and battery storage technologies.
Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently with a high degree of ownership.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with SharePoint or document management systems is an advantage.
German language skills are a significant advantage but not a prerequisite.
Preference will be given to candidates pursuing a Master’s degree.
Preference will be given to candidates who can stay with the team for at least one year.
Preference will be given to candidates interested in developing a deeper understanding of utility-scale energy infrastructure projects.
