ABB is seeking an Intern in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, to gain vocational experience in R&D by implementing and improving firmware for instruments. The role involves supporting operations, writing design documents, performing unit tests, and maintaining existing code, reporting to the R&D Team Lead.
Ansvarsområden
- Implement and improve firmware for instruments products
- Write design and test case documents
- Perform unit tests and assist test engineers in verifying functionality
- Maintain existing code and improve code quality
- Support and fix issues in production
- Support system test
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Krav
- Fourth-year student or above, majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Measurement and Control, or equivalent fields
- Basic Linux system skills and knowledge including "Make, GCC, GDB and bash"
- Experience with software version control by Git
- Experience with C/C++ and Python languages
- Familiarity with using skills and writing skills for GitHub Copilot Agent
- Available to work 4 days per week
- Willingness to learn new knowledge, self-motivated, team spirit
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experiences on firmware development is a big plus
- Driver (IIC, SPI, UART, ADC) development under RTOS system, HW knowledge is a big plus
