Saab UK seeks an Integration Team Lead for its Seaeye Business Unit in Fareham. This role involves leading the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and supporting equipment, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards. The position requires previous team leadership experience and a HNC/HND qualification, preferably in Electronics.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage a team of Integration Engineers in the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of underwater robotics fleet.
  • Ensure effective team training for integrating all assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Support overall product testing to prove system functionality.
  • Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
  • Lead fault finding and repair of equipment.
  • Receive change requests and provide input to improve product quality or efficiency.
  • Interpret designs, engineering information, and electrical drawings for assembly and testing.
  • Utilize relevant IT and other systems.
  • Use personal judgement and initiative to develop solutions to challenges.
  • Comply with 6S best practice and health and safety policies.
  • Act ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business.
  • Maintain professional and supportive relationships with other departments.
  • Carry out any other duties as detailed by the Engineering Manager.

Krav

  • Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
  • Ability to lead a fast-paced production area and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
  • Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.
