ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrading of automated pedestrian doors, requiring mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical circuits. Ansvarsområden

  • Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended installation procedures and specifications.
  • Document time spent and detail job-site conditions, problems, shortages, and inefficiencies.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner to prevent accidents.
  • Wear and maintain Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors.
  • Participate in training programs and on-call rotations after certification.

Krav

  • 3-5 years’ experience in direct industry, storefront door installation, or relevant industry experience (Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware).
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 110 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in various positions.
