ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician in Auburn, MA, to perform service, installation, and repair of automated pedestrian doors. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electro-mechanical issues, working with various door components, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a commitment to safety.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended installation procedures and specifications.
  • Document time spent and details of job-site conditions, problems, shortages, and inefficiencies.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner, preventing accidents to self, co-workers, contractors, and the public.
  • Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service.
  • Participate in training programs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.

Krav

  • 3-5 years’ experience of direct industry, storefront door installation or relevant industry experience (Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware etc.).
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification as required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
