ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is looking for a service-minded Warehouse Technician in Indianapolis to support door automation services. Responsibilities include managing inventory, performing cycle counts, receiving and organizing materials, and assisting with light fabrication tasks. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a desire to learn and improve.

Ansvarsområden

Perform daily cycle counts and update ERP (Baan) with inventory adjustments.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system and physical inventory.
Verify and maintain accurate inventory locations and location tracking spreadsheets.
Receive incoming materials, label, store, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
Pick, pull, and stage materials for job orders and weekly outbound shipments.
Maintain organization of consumables, tools, and overall warehouse housekeeping.
Load, unload, and handle materials including glass deliveries.
Support light fabrication tasks (cutting, drilling, punching) using power tools.
Assist Installation coordinator/Operations Manager as needed.

Krav

High school diploma or GED.
Self-motivated with desire to learn and make improvements.
Accurately measure materials using a tape measure.
Operate in a hands-on, non-office warehouse environment (primarily on the floor).
Lift and move materials up to 50+ lbs safely.
Work independently in a one-person warehouse operation.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safety-conscious workspace.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Utilize ERP systems and Excel (preferred but not required).
Operate a forklift (certification or ability to obtain preferred).
