Our Vancouver, Washington factory is seeking an Industrial/Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment. This role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and using various fabrication tools. Ansvarsområden
- Perform preventative maintenance actions and activities as assigned, including creating documentation for maintenance tasks specific to equipment (working instructions).
- Respond to maintenance calls throughout the factory and repair equipment accordingly.
- Perform troubleshooting independently on equipment and determine failure reasons and anomalies through structured problem-solving methodology.
- Contribute with the Preventative Maintenance (PM) methodology within the Plant area.
- Assist other maintenance personnel in rebuilding and/or redesigning production equipment.
- Work on continuous improvement activities and teams.
- Set up and operate a lathe, drill press, grinder, mill, and other fabrication tools and equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Krav
- 2+ years experience in the maintenance field, ideally in an industrial/production setting.
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components, including controls/PLCs.
- Solid knowledge and experience in the use of maintenance tools and equipment such as a lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and using troubleshooting methodologies.
- Intermediate computer skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes.
- Must be available to work any shift.
- Must follow standard production practices, including GMP guidelines.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Food packaging or converting industry experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is expected.
- Experience working under GMP guidelines is expected.
