Atlas Copco is seeking an Industrial Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, primarily air compressors and dryers. This remote role requires 1-2 years of technical experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to travel within a 1-2 hour radius of Mobile, AL. Paid training and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
  • Gain knowledge of VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Clean customer equipment pads, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
  • Communicate service status and repair options to customers and the Service Manager.
  • Complete all service-related documentation accurately.
  • Attend training at the Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and PPE use.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including travel to customer locations, potentially out-of-town and overnight.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Krav

  • 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
  • Experience with the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics preferred).
  • Experience in HVAC is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Proficient computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and training.
  • Supply all basic required tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and work in industrial environments with physical demands.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute (30 minutes to 1 hour) of the assigned territory.
  • Ability to park a company-issued, branded service vehicle at residence without restrictions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Certifications are a plus (EPA Certified).
  • Occasional travel to Rock Hill, SC for paid training.
