IKEA seeks an In-Store Logistics Manager in Mexico City to lead the store's Logistics department, ensuring high goods availability and efficient operations. Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the store Logistics department and collaborate with country Fulfilment and store commercial teams to ensure high goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost.
  • Actively participate in the management process to create the store business plan, developing and following up on logistics and recovery actions aligned with country strategies.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop talents within the Logistics function to build a diverse and competent team, ensuring future succession.
  • Secure the development and correct usage of long-term logistics capacity (space, equipment, people) within the store according to range frame.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and business partners to enhance competence development, particularly in effective goods flow and safety in goods handling.
  • Act as an ambassador for the IKEA value chain within logistics, adhering to the Global Supply Chain Operational Handbook, local appendices, and service agreements.
  • Monitor the performance of the logistics and recovery departments, taking actions to achieve goals for growth, budget, and performance.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction feedback, IKEA Brand Capital reports, co-worker satisfaction feedback, and commercial reviews to formulate actions that ensure product quality, merchandising, and a great shopping experience.
  • Promote IKEA retailers and the IKEA Brand as responsible partners by taking actions that contribute to sustainable long-term profitability and a people and planet positive business.
  • Ensure compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations, and local legislation regarding health, safety, security, and the environment within logistics and recovery departments.
  • Live the IKEA values and foster a strong IKEA culture that inspires colleagues.

Krav

  • Understanding of how to lead and manage to build high-performing teams and secure succession.
  • Understanding of budget, cost, and key performance measurements for planning and steering the business.
  • Understanding of the business plan process and how to integrate functional priorities.
  • Understanding of capacity planning, analysis of future needs, and formulation of actions to meet them at the lowest total cost.
  • Understanding of how other store functions contribute to successful logistics and recovery operations.
  • Knowledge of logistics to contribute within the commercial team and enhance overall store commerciality.
  • Understanding of the IKEA Code of Conduct, regulations, and legislation related to health, safety, and security.
  • Knowledge of the IKEA Concept description, vision, business idea, culture, and values.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial Review process and ability to act on learnings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the eight IKEA Key Values.
  • Ability to lead based on performing and delivering through team/stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to build trust and communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals in various situations.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, agile retail environment and achieve desired results.
  • Ability to deliver, making things happen with speed, simplicity, and flexibility, even in unpredictable situations.
  • Ability to follow up and optimize operational performance while considering tactical plans.
  • Ability to develop (support, coach, and train) others for growth and secure own development.
