In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Manage export licenses, including applications, tracking, utilization, and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Coordinate with government authorities for license issuance, amendments, and clarifications.
  • Handle import compliance activities, resolving customs-related queries and ensuring adherence to applicable trade regulations and policies.
  • Prepare and submit required statutory documents and reports to regulatory authorities.
  • Manage special shipment processes such as re-import, re-export, and capital goods imports, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of licenses, shipping documentation, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Prepare and share periodic reports on license utilization, shipment status, and compliance metrics.
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment of data and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve EXIM processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen compliance practices.
  • Stay up to date with evolving trade regulations, customs requirements, and licensing frameworks.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in export-import operations, trade compliance, or logistics within a manufacturing or international trade environment.
  • Strong knowledge of trade regulations, licensing processes, and customs compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with regulatory portals and managing export/import documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Hands-on experience with government licensing systems and customs procedures.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Oracle or similar ERP platforms.
  • Knowledge of data analysis or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Experience managing complex shipments such as capital goods, re-import, or re-export.
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
