As an IKEA for Business Interior Designer, you will translate business customer needs into functional and aesthetic interior design solutions using the IKEA product range. This role involves client interaction, design planning, and sales presentation, requiring a formal education in Interior Design and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

Understand business customers’ brand identity, activities and needs and translate them into relevant interior design solutions.
Use the IKEA product range and interior design expertise to create functional, aesthetic and complete solutions for different types of business customers.
Develop complete interior design solutions considering functionality, architectural elements, scale, color, materials, ergonomics, lighting and sustainability.
Establish and agree on key deliverables and budget requirements with business customers.
Lead the interior design planning process from start to finish in close collaboration with the IKEA for Business team and customers.
Present and sell interior design solutions and relevant services to customers and their stakeholder teams.
Follow up on completed projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
Stay updated on interior design trends, business segments, competitors and new ways of working to create relevant customer solutions.
Ensure solutions comply with applicable local rules, regulations and safety requirements.
Contribute to Interior Design Service performance, B2B sales goals and overall customer experience.

Krav

Formal education in Interior Design.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Home Furnishing and Retail Design as an Interior Designer.
Previous experience in sales and/or customer support.
Strong knowledge of interior design, IKEA products, materials, ergonomics, sustainability, lighting, colors, forms and workplace design.
Good knowledge of business customer segments, customer journeys and their specific needs and challenges.
Knowledgeable about local architecture, design trends, materials, and relevant rules, laws and safety regulations for offices and public spaces.
Comfortable using design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to present and sell interior design solutions in an inspiring and clear way.
Motivated by turning plans and design concepts into reality while delivering within scope, budget, quality and timelines.
