IKEA Food is seeking a part-time Co-worker in Tempe, New South Wales. Responsibilities include food preparation, customer service, and maintaining hygiene standards. This permanent role offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a dynamic work environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Food preparation and food service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production plans.
  • Providing friendly, helpful, efficient service to customers, actively selling the IKEA Food range.
  • Ensuring the work area is clean, organised, attractive, and inviting, compliant with Food standards.
  • Displaying and plating food attractively, ensuring accurate information and pricing.
  • Cleaning kitchen and serving equipment, food preparation areas, tables, and front of house areas.
  • Managing waste and dishes.
  • Processing customer transactions, including cash and card payments.

Krav

  • Love for food, ensuring strong food quality and presentation.
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong communication and high energy.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, hands-on environment.
  • Commitment to following strict Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating roster between 7:00 am - 9:30 pm on weekdays, and 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
  • Availability during IKEA's busiest trading period (November to January) is preferred, with limited holiday planning during these months.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Previous hospitality and customer experience will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with temperature and date checks for food safety.
