IKEA Batu Kawan is seeking a Part-Time IKEA Food Assistant for their kitchen operations, working 20 hours per week. The role involves food handling, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and providing excellent customer service. Prior food and beverage experience is an advantage.

Ansvarsområden

Perform food handling tasks requiring prolonged walking and standing.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene practices at all times.
Attend to customers’ needs and requests for food with the best customer service quality.
Ensure all food products are in perfect condition and correctly priced.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
Handle cash and perform daily food handling and housekeeping chores.

Krav

Possess a cheerful, pleasant personality with a positive mindset.
Customer service minded, sales driven, and motivated to work in a vibrant retail environment.
Physically fit with a hands-on approach.
Meticulous with an eye for details and follow-up skills.
Strong team player and able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
Comfortable handling basic food preparation.
Able to work on rotating shifts and support retail operations during peak periods, including public holidays and weekends.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Having Food and Beverage and Café working experience is an additional advantage.
