Arla Foods seeks a Hygiene Operator for their Taw Valley Creamery in Devon. This permanent, full-time role involves ensuring product quality and food safety through diligent cleaning, issue resolution, and proactive safety measures in a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.

Ansvarsområden

  • Escalate serious issues to the Production Team Leader or Production Manager.
  • Make decisions to resolve day-to-day production issues.
  • Work with engineering to reduce lost time due to breakdowns and ensure plant availability for maintenance.
  • Contribute to problem-solving, continuous improvement activities, and CAPEX projects.
  • Maintain a hygienic and food-safe environment for audits.
  • Ensure departmental paperwork is accurately completed.
  • Proactively maintain a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the completion of risk assessments and standard operating procedures.

  • Motivated team player, able to work on own initiative and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Excellent attitude towards quality, food safety, and health and safety.
  • Excellent IT skills, numeracy, and literacy.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related manufacturing/scientific environment is preferred but not essential.
