Amazon Data Center Capacity Delivery (DCCD) is looking for an exceptional Commissioning Manager in Hyderabad, India. This role involves leading and developing a team of commissioning professionals, leveraging technical expertise in mechanical and electrical infrastructure, and driving process improvements to support Amazon's growth in India. The ideal candidate has experience managing multi-city or international teams and a background in engineering or project management.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and develop a high-performing team of Commissioning Engineers, including hiring and managing team performance.
Create a vision for the team and set priorities aligned with organizational goals.
Define the organizational structure to meet short-term and long-range business requirements.
Understand the technology and lifecycle of data center mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
Utilize knowledge of standards, related disciplines, contractual and business acumen to develop strategies.
Create standards around which others will operate and build consensus across the organization.
Identify key value drivers that contribute to commissioning success and lead the development of process improvement strategies.
Fix broken processes, convert proven concepts into mechanisms, and iterate existing mechanisms to improve outcomes.
Lead cross-functional teams in commissioning for availability and reliability-focused initiatives.
Develop and manage metrics that quantify performance and measure the effectiveness of commissioning key value drivers.
Establish a cadence to inspect performance, ensure compliance, provide insights, and track improvements to success.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop cross-functional mechanisms that improve overall organizational metrics using knowledge, experience, innovation with artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Align cross-functionally and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders to deliver on the quality policy.
Communicate and provide guidance to Finance during the development and execution of capital and operational forecast.
Lead capital and operational budget and organizational planning.
Deliver solutions to complex problems through data analysis and forensics, communicating recommended solutions up through leadership teams.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
Experience in industrial or commercial engineering or project management in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, or oil/gas facilities
3+ years of engineering team management experience
3+ years of people leadership experience
