Volvo Truck and Bus is seeking a skilled HGV Technician in Thetford to perform service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs. The role offers a salary up to £20 per hour, a £3,000 joining bonus, and comprehensive training programs.

Ansvarsområden

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
  • Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.

Krav

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Previous experience working on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
