Volvo Truck and Bus is seeking skilled HGV Technicians for their London South (Croydon) location. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £26 per hour, a £3,000 joining bonus, and extensive training opportunities. The position involves servicing, maintenance, and repair of Volvo HGVs, with opportunities for overtime.

Ansvarsområden

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
  • Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.

Krav

  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Previous experience working on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.
  • Willingness to get hands dirty.
