Arla Foods is seeking motivated individuals to join their HGV Driver Academy in Burton-on-Trent. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive training to obtain a Cat C+E license, with a supportive learning environment and a 4 on 2 off rolling shift pattern. The program aims to develop outstanding logistics professionals within the dairy industry.

Ansvarsområden

Train towards obtaining your LGV Category C+E license
Responsible for loading/unloading customers’ milk and transporting it to dairies for processing
Transhipping milk whilst also maintaining yard and vehicle cleanliness
Maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene
Maintain good relationships with customers, Arla staff and management
Represent the company when on customer’s premises or travelling to and from those premises
Ensure the company’s high standard of customer service and satisfaction

Krav

Full UK driving licence
A motivated individual with a “can do” attitude
Enthusiastic about teaching others, able to find different ways to engage and educate
An excellent communicator
Health & Safety orientated

Önskade kvalifikationer

Work a 4 on 2 off rolling shift pattern that will include weekends and bank holidays
Over the 8 month training period (plus 3 months for EPA), work towards becoming a fully qualified member of the growing Arla Driver Academy through a blended approach to learning
Have the full support and guidance of a mentor, fellow colleagues and a skills coach
Aim to equip drivers with their Large Goods Vehicle Driving Licence
