Ericsson is seeking a Head of Strategic Engagement in Sydney, Australia, to lead executive partnerships with Optus and drive strategic deal closure. This senior role focuses on translating business priorities into technology outcomes, shaping the strategic partnership across 5G, AI, and network transformation.

Ansvarsområden

  • Coordinate and strengthen engagement with Optus Executive GM’s and GM’s.
  • Drive Ericsson’s strategic narrative and value proposition across 5G, Cloud, Autonomous Network, AI, and enterprise growth.
  • Align multiple domains (RAN, Core, Cloud, OSS/BSS) for a unified Ericsson position.
  • Support the development and closure of strategic cross-domain opportunities.
  • Facilitate account strategy and planning with account and domain leaders.
  • Coordinate executive governance forums.
  • Create and own the annual executive engagement agenda for Optus.
  • Collaborate with CTOs to align technical strategy with business outcomes.
  • Partner with Delivery and Operations leadership for value delivery.
  • Act as delegate to the KAM for executive engagement and strategic account leadership.

Krav

  • Extensive experience in telecom or technology industries.
  • Strong strategic and business skills, including executive engagement, credibility, stakeholder influence, and customer strategy.
  • Trusted advisor mindset with the ability to build confidence, collaborate across domains, and align priorities.
  • Strong understanding of telecom priorities, business drivers, and investment decision-making.
  • Ability to lead strategic conversations, influence senior stakeholders, and connect business, technology, and customer outcomes.
  • Confidence operating in complex matrix environments.
  • Confidence operating at executive level, influencing outcomes and building long-term strategic relationships.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Desirable knowledge across RAN, Core, AI, autonomous networks and 6G, or the curiosity to quickly build understanding.
  • Motivation to work on industry-defining transformation programs across business, technology and strategy.
  • Passion for creating tangible impact on the customer’s future direction and strategic partnership.
