Saab is seeking a Head of Profit Unit Fire Control System in Solna, Sweden. This executive role involves leading a newly formed unit responsible for critical defense systems, driving strategy, innovation, and profitability. Ansvarsområden

  • Establish and lead Saab's newly formed Profit Unit Fire Control System.
  • Have full Profit Unit responsibility and shape its future direction and growth.
  • Be responsible for the part of the Naval Combat System that handles time-critical systems.
  • Ensure sustainable customer value through strategy and portfolio management, product innovation, production, and aftermarket business.
  • Lead a management team from Marketing & Sales, Development, Sourcing, Production, and other key functions.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for an organization of approximately 300 employees.
  • Play an important role in customer relations.
  • Collaborate closely across Saab programmes to secure new business and execute ongoing contracts.
  • Contribute to the Business Unit Naval Combat Systems Management Team.

  • Have a strong product vision to keep us at the forefront of the market and relevant to our customers' needs.
  • Have the ability to establish and maintain a strong network of customers, local industrial partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Have a deep understanding of production, as PU Fire Control System also hosts the Global Head of Production role for BU Naval Combat Systems.
  • Pass a security vetting based on current security protection regulations.
