I korthet

As a Graphic Design Team Leader, you will lead the Com&In team to ensure store communication amplifies the shopping experience and upholds the IKEA visual identity. This role involves developing and implementing store communication strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring high standards for print and digital materials.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead, inspire, and challenge the Com&In team and other functions in the store to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity in store communication.
  • Lead the process of planning and implementing store communication to ensure it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept and enhances range presentation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate store communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience.
  • Actively support the department action plan with store communication initiatives focused on growing the business.
  • Set clear expectations and standards for routines and responsibilities, acting quickly to exploit commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure high standards for visual balance, consistency, quality, simplicity, cost-efficiency, and sustainability in producing and implementing store communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with home furnishing, communication, digital developments, and retail design trends.
  • Ensure succession planning by searching for potential candidates and coaching graphic communication co-workers.
  • Ensure concept and commercial review standards are met by setting regular checkpoints.

Krav

  • 3 years of experience using graphics design software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools (printers, pre-press production and print techniques).
  • Previous experience with ordering, purchasing, and working with budgets.
