Emerson Measurement Systems and Solutions CoE Pune Hub is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering. The role involves hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA configuration, PLC development, and communication protocols, with a preference for candidates with metering systems background. This hybrid role requires good communication and documentation skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Configure HMI/SCADA based on Movicon, CIMPLICITY, and iFIX.
  • Configure historical reports and trends using SQL and VB scripting.
  • Test serial and Ethernet communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.).
  • Configure PLCs and develop FBD, Structured Logic, and Ladder Logic.
  • Prepare documentation like Specifications, FDS, Control Logic, I/O List, and Reports.
  • Simulate field signals, perform fault finding, and suggest remedies.
  • Present systems to customers and participate in meetings.

Krav

  • Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, MS Project).
  • Experience in HMI, SCADA, PLC, Flow computer based Metering preferred.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in liquid or gas metering systems.
  • Knowledge of metering calculation verification as per AGA-8, AGA-7, API, or other relevant measurement standards.
  • Skills in liquid proving, gas meter verification, batching systems.
  • Hands-on experience with S600+, OMNI, or equivalent flow computers.
  • Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering Knowledge, Provers and Master Meters.
  • Able to generate Informative data and complete periodic review with Project Manager / Engineering Manager.
  • Provide idea/Suggestion to improve Test setup for improving quality and save the efforts during FAT.
  • Ensure Knowledge is shared within the Team.
