Emerson is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Pune, India. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in configuring HMI/SCADA systems, developing PLC logic, and working with metering systems. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering and a background in relevant technologies.

Ansvarsområden

  • Gain hands-on experience in HMI/SCADA configuration (Movicon, CIMPLICITY, iFIX).
  • Configure historical reports and trends using SQL and VB scripting.
  • Test serial and Ethernet communication protocols (Modbus, OPC).
  • Engage in PLC configuration and development (FBD, Structured Logic, Ladder Logic).
  • Prepare documentation like Specifications, FDS, Control Logic, I/O List, and Reports.
  • Simulate field signals, perform fault finding, and suggest remedies.
  • Present systems to customers and participate in meetings.

Krav

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering.
  • Background in Scada, PLC, HMI, and metering flow computer.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, MS Project).
  • Experience in HMI (Wonderware/iFix/Cimplicity/Movicon).
  • Experience with ABB, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider PLC/SCADA, HMI, Batch systems, and SQL database management.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in liquid or gas metering systems.
  • Knowledge of metering calculation verification as per AGA-8, AGA-7, API, or other relevant measurement standards.
  • Skills in liquid proving, gas meter verification, batching systems.
  • Experience with S600+, OMNI, or equivalent flow computers.
  • Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering Knowledge, Provers and Master Meters.
  • Ability to generate informative data and complete periodic reviews.
  • Ability to provide suggestions to improve test setups.
  • Ensure knowledge is shared within the Team.
