Volvo Group is seeking a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in Bangalore to contribute to shaping sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, CAD, and manufacturing processes within the Trucks Technology & Industrial Division.

Ansvarsområden

  • Contribute to the transformation of the company, transport industry, and society.
  • Conceptualize ideas based on prerequisites (QDCF).
  • Work with multi-material assemblies and consider stakeholder requirements.
  • Gain knowledge of plastic/sheetmetal part manufacturing processes (Tooling, Injection, Blow moulding, Vacuum forming, Press tool, blanking and forming, secondary operations, proto manufacturing methods).
  • Develop skills in Part modelling, Surfacing, Assembly, Drawing and detailing in CATIA V5/Creo.
  • Apply Geometry analysis: Draft analysis, Plastic part tolerancing, GD&T applications.

Krav

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Graduation year: 2023, 2024, or 2025/26.
  • Participation in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
  • Strong Engineering Basics.
  • Knowledge in written and spoken English is a must.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Optional CAD knowledge.
  • Optional FEM knowledge.
  • Optional Tooling and Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Basic Automation (AI/ML) knowledge.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5/Creo is optional.
  • Preferred good knowledge in CAD tools.
  • Good command over MS Office tools.
