This temporary, entry-level Graduate Apprentice Trainee position in Data Science at Volvo Group offers hands-on training in data preparation, analytics, Machine Learning, and AI. The role, part of the NATS program, is located in Hosakote, India, and focuses on developing industry-ready capabilities.

Ansvarsområden

Assist in collecting, cleaning, transforming, and validating data.
Prepare and analyse datasets using Python, SQL, and Databricks.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
Support the development and testing of analytical and Machine Learning models.
Assist in building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.
Collaborate with Data Scientists and business teams.
Document data sources, assumptions, analysis, and findings.
Contribute to data-quality improvements and identify opportunities for Data Science, ML, and AI application.
Communicate findings through reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Basic understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis concepts.
Basic programming knowledge in Python.
Familiarity with SQL and fundamental database concepts.
Introductory understanding of Machine Learning and its applications.
Strong logical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and apply analytical thinking to business problems.
