I korthet

Volvo India is seeking Graduate Apprentice Trainees for a year-long program focused on practical training in Financial Services, specifically in Supplier Quality. This role involves monitoring quality issues, generating alerts, conducting review meetings, and following up with suppliers on corrective actions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Monitor and record daily quality issues and generate quality alerts.
  • Generate quality notifications and record quality issues with Line QC.
  • Share weekly and monthly quality data with the Manager.
  • Conduct joint quality review meetings with stakeholders.
  • Address quality issues of supplier parts on the production line.
  • Support in judging the root cause of assembly issues in supplier parts and stock verification.
  • Follow up with suppliers for correction, corrective action, and preventive actions.
  • Follow up for receiving RCA and 8D reports from suppliers.
  • Maintain constant interaction with suppliers to improve the quality of delivered parts.
  • Review 8D and RCA reports from suppliers, assessing their effectiveness.
  • Perform PPAP Parts inspection and ECN parts inspection at supplier end and in-house.
  • Verify supplier reports and check part reports against drawing requirements.

Krav

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or Material Science.
  • Fresher with no prior experience.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Quick learner, good team player, and self-motivated.
  • Basics on the usage of measuring tools and equipment.
  • Good engineering drawing reading skills.
  • Basic know-how on the usage of SAP, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of Power BI software is preferred.
  • Knowledge on fabrication, painting, and other manufacturing processes is preferred.
