We are seeking a Senior GPU Systems Validation Engineer in Cork, Ireland, to work on post-silicon lab activities including power analysis and voltage margin optimizations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring advanced GPUs to market, requiring expertise in system-level validation, digital circuit characterization, and scripting.

Ansvarsområden

Work on characterization and correlation activities in a Post Silicon Lab environment.
Focus on power analysis and voltage margin optimizations for Adreno GPU core.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, design, SW, production engineering) to commercialize GPUs.
Perform system validation on emulation platforms and on silicon.
Assist with chip bring-up and debug.
Program device drivers in C language.
Debug low-level software and hardware issues.
Use Python for data analysis and test automations.
Validate and debug mixed-signal IP.
Measure power, performance, and thermal behaviors on silicon.

Krav

3+ years of related experience in system-level Validation.
Focus on power analysis and characterization of digital circuits.
Experience in one or more of the following: system validation on emulation/silicon, chip bring-up/debug, programming device drivers in C, debugging low-level HW/SW issues, scripting in Python, validation/debug of mixed-signal IP, measurement of silicon power/performance/thermal behaviors.
Excellent C/C++ programming skills.
Excellent Perl/Python scripting skills.
Knowledge of power consumption concepts in digital circuits.
Knowledge of ARM CPU architecture and AHB/AXI bus protocols.
Knowledge of GPU architecture.
Experience with lab equipment (Logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes).
Experience with Lauterbach Trace32 debug platform.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
