Qualcomm is looking for a Senior GNSS Software Engineer in Bangalore, India, to design, develop, test, and optimize real-time embedded location software. This role involves working with other engineers to integrate GNSS, wireless technologies, and MEMS sensors, requiring strong C programming, real-time OS knowledge, and experience with embedded systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, development, test, maintenance, and optimization of real-time embedded location software.
  • Work closely with software, systems, hardware, and test engineers.
  • Integrate GNSS, wireless technologies, and MEMS sensors to create location solutions.
  • Contribute to system design, software development methodology, and software architecture discussions.
  • Solve location domain specific problems and complex embedded problems.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc.
  • Strong SW engineering skills.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, mathematical modelling of physical systems.
  • Passion for efficient and highly scalable software development.
  • Team player with the ability to understand and question end-to-end system goals.
  • Strong C programming skills.
  • Real-time OS knowledge.
  • Willingness to adhere to good software development processes.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and debugging medium to large scale real-time systems.
  • Commercial development experience with real-time embedded systems, GPS/GNSS software development, GNSS Signal processing algorithms, designing complex state machines, optimization techniques and navigation algorithms.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with Perl, Python, Matlab or other scripting languages is a plus.
