Qualcomm's Controllership Team is looking for a Senior Accountant at the Global Accounting Operations Center (GAOC) in Hyderabad. This role will lead global closing and reporting activities, focusing on leveraging AI, automation, and analytics to optimize accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and support business initiatives.
The ideal candidate will champion intelligent process enhancements, adopt data-driven insights, and apply advanced technologies to transform finance operations at scale.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead US GAAP general accounting using advanced AI tools and automation platforms.
- Oversee month-end close, including journal preparation, posting, ledger and trial balance review, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and analyze the general ledger, applying analytics and AI-driven tools for revenue and cost recognition.
- Prepare and remediate quarterly balance sheet analyses using AI-powered review solutions.
- Deliver timely HQ and ad hoc reports, leveraging automation for accuracy and efficiency.
- Recommend, design, and implement improvements to ledger systems and workflows, emphasizing automation and AI-assisted standardization.
- Support local controllership during audits with automated documentation and compliance in local GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, integrating AI-driven control and monitoring.
Krav
- CPA or Chartered Accountant degree in Finance/Accounting.
- 4–8 years’ experience in a multi-GAAP, shared service environment.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and SAP GA modules.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage ERP and AI solutions.
- Exceptional English communication skills, with emphasis on presenting analytics and AI-derived insights.
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new standards, processes, and technologies rapidly, especially in AI and automation.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; detail-oriented and skilled at data-driven decision-making.
- Advanced IT skills, including Excel and Outlook, plus experience in AI and analytics platforms.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience in a large multinational company preferred.
- CPA certification and demonstrated proficiency in AI-driven Record-to-Report (R2R) activities.
- Completion of advanced degrees in a relevant field may substitute for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).
