Lead hardware engineering for DCS projects, encompassing architecture, design, execution, and support. This role requires a degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience in DCS/PLC platforms, managing multi-stakeholder projects, and interfacing with third-party systems. The position is hybrid, based in Noida, India, and focuses on driving technical reviews, ensuring quality, and supporting FAT, site, and commissioning activities.

Ansvarsområden

Lead hardware engineering for DCS projects including architecture, cabinet design, I/O distribution, network layout, and 3rd party interfaces.
Define deliverables, plan execution, allocate work to engineers, and ensure adherence to schedule, quality, and budget.
Drive and participate in technical reviews, risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical decision closure.
Act as the technical focal point for cabinet build execution, resolving assembly queries.
Review customer specifications, identify gaps/risks, and coordinate clarifications.
Prepare/review hardware deliverables such as system configuration drawings, cabinet GA, BOM, and documentation.
Coordinate with assembly/supply chain teams to ensure build readiness and resolve queries.
Plan and support Hardware FAT activities, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved.
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Travel to Emerson factories and project sites for supervision and commissioning.
Support customer training and handover activities.
Ensure rigorous configuration control and traceability for revisions and submissions.
Ensure adherence to internal quality processes and project engineering checklists.
Capture lessons learned and drive standardization improvements.
Coach and technically develop engineers/designers through guidance and reviews.

Krav

Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field).
10 years' project engineering and commissioning experience in field of DCS / PLCs.
Proficiency with one or more DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., ABB 800xA / Bailey INFI 90 / Symphony Harmony, Yokogawa Centum VP/ CS3000, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark V / VI, Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation, Invensys, Honeywell XPKS, MaxDNA, Alstom Alspa320, Schneider, Siemens PLCs & SCADA etc.).
Experience supporting multi-stakeholder execution involving engineering centers, front offices, customers, and integrators/vendors.
Ability to interface third party systems with DCS using commonly used industrial protocols like Modbus, DNP3 etc.
