Qualcomm is seeking an IP Applications Engineering Intern for a 16-month internship in Toronto, Canada, starting in 2027. This role involves supporting customers with high-speed IP solutions, gaining experience in customer support, IP integration, and silicon bring-up, while working with technologies like SerDes, Ethernet, and PCIe.

Ansvarsområden

Develop and maintain APIs and ATE vectors
Provide first-line customer-facing post-sales support for Ethernet and PCIe serdes IPs
Work closely with R&D and provide updates to PM when required
Provide remote and onsite post-sales silicon bring up support to customers worldwide
Work with internal teams to resolve customer issues

Krav

Currently studying Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Science
Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting skills in Python, Tcl, Perl
Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog testbenches
1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience working with PCIe and/or Ethernet SerDes specifications
Experience working with lab equipment such as BERT, real-time scopes, sampling scopes, VNA, and/or protocol analyzers
Experience with lab automation software such as Python and/or Labview
Extensive working experience with one or more: firmware, low-level programming, optimizing embedded C code, hardware debug
Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence
Knowledge of EDA tools, strong understanding of simulators
