Ansvarsområden

Support lab testing activities for ultra-high-speed (100Gbps+) network communication devices.
Assist in the characterization and validation of ultra-high-speed interfaces (SerDes) transceivers in System-on-Chip (SOC) designs for electrical and optical applications.
Be involved with the electrical and/or optical characterization activities of next generation products targeted for AI and data center applications.
Build complex test fixtures in a modern lab space.
Develop robust test solutions to meet evolving industry standards such as IEEE 802.3, OIF, and applicable multi-standard agreements (MSA).
Develop scripts and tools for device configuration, test routines, instrumentation control, and data collection.

Krav

In study towards a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field.
For 4-month internships: must be available January 2027 - April/May 2027.
Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc.
Familiarity with Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
Interest or experience in working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal analyzers, VNAs, AWGs, VOAs, OSAs, and power meters.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience developing or maintaining software tools is a strong asset.
Experience using Git or other version control software is a plus.
No prior experience with SerDes is required but an interest in high-speed interfaces is valued.
